Barrel Select 60/40

This line begins with a careful selection of barrels that show a tremendous fruit expression that represents the best of each variety: Carmenère and Syrah from Peumo and a Cabernet Sauvignon / Merlot from Maipo. These are wines with great identity and are sure to amaze on every occasion.

Origin: Maipo Valley, Isla de Maipo, Chile.

Variety: 60% Cabernet Sauvignon - 40% Merlot.

Harvest: Late March through early April.

Aging: 100% in oak barrels (8 months) and bottle aged at least 6 months.

Notes of the Winemaker:

Color: Deep ruby-red.

Aroma: Intense fruit aromas that recall prunes and blackberries complemented by notes of toast, vanilla, and cinnamon.

Palate: big-bodied, concentrated and well-rounded. Very ripe, with a long finish.

Pairing Suggestion: Drink with red meats, white meats, pastas, game birds, and cheeses.
